My name is Ann-Marie, and I’m a master colourist and hairdresser with over 25 years of experience.

Originally from Ireland, I began my career in 1997 on the high street of Dublin at the renowned Zoo Hair Dublin, training under the guidance of famous stylist Shay Dempsey.

 

During my five years there, I quickly flourished, developing fine technical skills and a natural flair for hair design.

In 2001, chasing my passion for fitness, sun, and surf, I made the move to Australia. Upon arrival, I was secured by Joh Bailey Hair in Sydney CBD, where I spent 15 years as a leading stylist within the company. As I settled into Australian life and started a family, I brought my expertise to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, working for six years at Judena Hair in Bondi as a senior stylist.

Driven by a desire for independence, I began contracting for LUXit Beauty Concierge, styling VIP clients across Sydney’s premier luxury hotels. This experience reinforced my passion for dedicated, personal service and inspired me to launch my own business: Bespoke Hair by AK.

Today, I rent a private studio space in Double Bay, offering an exclusive, boutique one-to-one experience.

 

Every appointment receives my undivided attention—no assistants, no rushed transitions, just tailored care focused on blondes, balayage, precision cutting, and advanced hair smoothing treatments.

All services include a complimentary head massage and treatment.
